Honeymooning in Greece: Athens

While we were away, I sent a little "postcard". Now I have more pictures from Athens and Voula, the area we stayed in. Athens is truly incredible, so many fascinating things to see. Voula not so much, except for the beaches and Glyfada, a fancy shopping area. However, it is a very quiet and safe place to live, but still not very far from the big city.

From an old church on Mars Hill
Breathtaking sculptures
National Gardens
Syntagma Square
Big smiles
Byzantine churches everywhere
Gelato + freshly baked cookie
Chilling on our AirBnB balcony
Loving the sunshine and the sea
A small stony beach in Voula

Stay tuned for part 2 of this travel series, coming up is a post from Santorini.
